A tennis ball is a ball designed for the sport of tennis racquets, approximately 6.7 cm (2.7 in.) in diameter and is usually light green, but in recreational play can be virtually any colour. Tennis balls are covered in a fibrous fluffy felt which modifies their aerodynamic properties. Its colour has also sparked much debate, with many claiming that tennis balls are generally green and not yellow       mainly due to the fluorescent nature of the color.
The cheap tennis rackets ball can also be used for other games such as matkot, fuzzball, Irish handball, non-professional hurling and two square. It is also popularly used in the sub continent for cricket due to its good bounce. Tape ball is a variation of cricket that uses a tennis ball wrapped in electrical tape. In Canada, tennis balls are often used to play street hockey.
Another popular use of the discount tennis rackets ball is as a dog toy during a game of fetch. Also many public schools utilize old, used tennis balls as a cushion for each chair leg of the students chairs and desks. This is a great way to prevent scuffing up floors and extends the useful life of the tennis ball.

In the early years of tennis, balls were often made of leather stuffed with hair or wool. Shakespeare refers to tennis racquets in Much Ado About Nothing (Act III, Scene II):
CLAUDIO
No, but the barber's man hath been seen with him,
and the old ornament of his cheek hath already stuffed cheap tennis rackets.
In 1480, Louis XI of France forbade the filling of tennis balls with chalk, sand, sawdust, or earth, and stated that they were to be made of good leather well-stuffed with wool.[1] Other early discount tennis rackets were made by Scottish craftsmen from a wool-wrapped stomach of a sheep or goat and tied with rope. Those recovered from the hammer-beam roof of Westminster Hall during a period of recent restoration were found to have been manufactured from a combination of putty and human hair, and were dated to the reign of Henry VIII. Other versions, using materials such as animal fur, rope made from animal intestines and muscles, and pine wood, were found in Scottish castles dating back to the 16th century. In the 18th century, ¾" strips of wool were wound tightly around a nucleus made by rolling a number of strips into a little tennis rackets on sale. String was then tied in many directions around the ball and a white cloth covering sewn around the ball. This explains why modern rubber tennis balls still have a cloth covering (in the early days of lawn tennis, it proved quite difficult to get the cloth to adhere very well to the rubber). This type of cloth ball, with a cork core, is still used for the original game of tennis, today called real tennis. With the introduction of lawn tennis in the 1870s, vulcanized rubber was first used to manufacture balls, often in tubes of four with a package, but not with the name of the brand.

Tennis racquets (lawn tennis) was part of the Summer Olympic Games program from the inaugural 1896 Summer Olympics, but was dropped after the 1924 Summer Olympics. After two appearances as a demonstration sport, cheap tennis rackets returned as a full medal sport at the 1988 Summer Olympics and has been played at every edition of the Games since then.
In 1896, 1900, 1904, 1988, and 1992, semifinal losers shared bronze medals. In all other years, a playoff match for the bronze medal was staged.
Starting from the 2004 Athens Olympics, results from the Olympics count towards both the ATP and WTA world rankings

In the UK, polo hoodies for men have been the subject of much criticism; some shoplifters have used the hood to conceal their identities from CCTV cameras in shopping centres. Particularly when worn with a baseball cap, the hoodie has become a trademark of "chavs": it has been called the "chav-style" in an Oxfam report.
"No hoodies" sign outside a pub in South LondonAngela McRobbie, professor of communications at Goldsmiths College in the UK, says the appeal of the polo hoodies for women is because of its promise of anonymity, mystery and anxiety. "The point of origin is obviously black American hip-hop culture, now thoroughly mainstream and a key part of the global economy. Leisure and sportswear adopted for everyday wear suggests a distance from the world of office suit or school uniform. Rap culture celebrates defiance, as it narrates the experience of social exclusion. Musically and stylistically, it projects menace and danger as well as anger and rage. The polo shirts wholesale top is one in a long line of garments chosen by young people, usually boys, to which are ascribed meanings suggesting that they are 'up to no good'. In the past, such appropriation was usually restricted to membership of specific youth cultures - leather jackets, bondage trousers - but nowadays it is the norm among young people to flag up their music and cultural preferences in this way, hence the adoption of the north face jackets cheap by boys across the boundaries of age, ethnicity and class."
